On May 22, a popular TV star named Vaibhavi Upadhyaya passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident.She and her fiancé, Jay Suresh Gandhi, were travelling when the tragedy happened near Banjar, HimachaPradesh.Jasmine was a well-known character that Vaibhavi Upadhyaya played in the television series Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai.

She was in Himachal with her fiancé when their automobile crashed into a canyon, resulting in an accident for both of them.
