S Club's Paul Cattermole is a British pop musicia 7 pass away at age 46.

Weeks after the band S Club 7 announced a reunion tour, star Paul Cattermole passed away at the age of 46.

The pop group and his family released a statement saying, "It is with tremendous grief that we announce the sudden demise of our dear son and brother Paul Cattermole."

The cause of his death, which occurred on Thursday, is unknown, but there are no suspicious circumstances, according to the statement.One of the most popular pop groups in the late 1990s and early 2000s was S Club 7.

Reach, Don't Stop Movin', and S Club Party were among their hits. Throughout the course of their career, they sold more than 10 million records worldwide and had 11 UK top 10 songs, including four number ones.They also received two Brit Awards.

The band remarked, "We are grateful for the incredible memories we have and feel so fortunate to have had him in our life.

S Club 7 was introduced through a TV show about a pop band, in which the members portrayed fictitious versions of themselves, much like The Monkees, in 1998 by Simon Fuller, the Spice Girls' music mogul.

"Don't Stop Movin'," the iconic bubblegum pop song "Reach," and the ballad "Never Had a Dream Come True," which reached the top 10 in the United States, are just a few of S Club 7's upbeat U.K. hits.

They sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and had 11 top 10 songs in the United Kingdom, including four number ones,

The band took the stage at a concert at Buckingham Palace in 2002 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's 50 years as monarch.The band's members omitted the number from their name after Cattermole departed the group the same year, according to the BBC.

He told the Guardian in 2019 that "it had gotten to the point where things were being handled so terribly, I had to go."According to the BBC, all seven S Club members got back together in 2014, and Cattermole went on to star in a stage production of The Rocky Horror Show the following year.

But he claimed he never saw much of the money his band made, and in 2018, after finding it difficult to obtain employment due to his age, he put his 2000 Brit Award statuette for best newcomer on eBay.July 2018, following difficulty locating employment due to a back injury.

All of S Club 7's founding members announced in February that a 25th anniversary tour would start in October
